"It's my party..."

As my mum called to say, "I know what I was doing exactly 25 years ago today" and "Happy Birthday"
My heart sunk as it dawned on me that I would always remember what I was doing exactly on May 13th
Of course I would always remember her birthday.
A mother does these things without even thinking

A mother remembers long after the world has forgotten
