I left a message for the doctor on Thursday afternoon and still haven't heard back about the referral. I hope I'm not being given the run-around. I think she might argue I don't have a problem, but we'll see. I guess maybe I'll put another call in on Monday. I hope this doesn't warrant an actual 'appointment' to get the referral.
Where did this weekend go?
Is it wrong that I don't want to go to work on Monday?

I wonder if you might have to schedule an appointment to get that referral. I know I would have to here, though I know our medical systems are different.
I'm happy to know it's covered, missing. I think that is very good news indeed. Now, just to get in there.
PS I finally got into the recurrent pregnancy loss/infertility clinic here. My appt is Wednesday. I feel some sense of relief knowing that I'm going to get some (more) help. It sucks not having any control over this shit. XO.
My peri's office is the same way. It took me over 2 weeks to get what I needed done- which was actually a piece of paper sent to my insurance...go figure.
I didn't need a referral from my OB, but I insisted there was a problem (a year; a lot of charts in hand) and she thought we'd try two rounds of clomid before sending me off. We did, and she did. I guess some like to be more involved or something? But RE's are in the biz of just getting you pregnant, and I don't really think they care how you get there. If your insurance covers, it should cover once s/he (the RE) writes a code on your bill.
Anyway, it's nice to know there's forward motion in that regard, and soon you'll have a plan. And I love plans.
